Use your own account
Your account, subscription, software access, and market data permissions are personal to you unless AlchemCharts approves otherwise in writing.
This Acceptable Use Policy explains how AlchemCharts may and may not be used, including rules for accounts, software access, market data, support communications, security, and platform integrity.
This overview is for convenience only. The full Policy below controls if there is any conflict.
Your account, subscription, software access, and market data permissions are personal to you unless AlchemCharts approves otherwise in writing.
Do not share passwords, license files, installers, market data access, or account credentials with others.
Market data may be subject to exchange, data provider, licensor, subscriber, and entitlement restrictions.
Do not bypass access controls, disrupt systems, scrape data, reverse engineer software, submit false information, or use AlchemCharts unlawfully.
Section 1
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to your access to and use of the AlchemCharts website, account area, charting software, downloads, installers, support resources, subscription, market data setup, market data displays, communications, documentation, and related services.
This Policy is part of the AlchemCharts legal terms and should be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Billing and Cancellation Policy, Risk and Investment Disclaimer, market data agreements, exchange agreements, and any notices presented when you subscribe, download, install, or use AlchemCharts.
If you do not agree with this Policy, do not access or use AlchemCharts.
Section 2
AlchemCharts is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a subscription agreement. AlchemCharts is designed for Market Skills students and related student workflows, subject to subscription status, account standing, software requirements, and market data requirements.
You may use AlchemCharts only for lawful, authorized, personal, non-transferable use connected to your own account unless AlchemCharts expressly approves another use in writing.
You are responsible for making sure your use complies with applicable laws, regulations, exchange rules, data provider requirements, software restrictions, market data agreements, and AlchemCharts terms.
Section 3
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
AlchemCharts Support will never need your password. Do not send passwords or full credit card numbers through email, support forms, screenshots, chat messages, or attachments.
Section 4
Subject to the Terms of Service, this Policy, your subscription status, and applicable agreements, you may use AlchemCharts to access the charting workspace, view available market data, complete setup steps, use account tools, review support resources, communicate with support, and operate the software for your personal Market Skills student workflow.
Permitted use does not include any right to copy, redistribute, resell, publish, scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with, or provide third-party access to AlchemCharts software, market data, account features, support resources, installers, documentation, or proprietary materials.
Section 5
You may not use AlchemCharts in a way that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, unauthorized, disruptive, or inconsistent with the intended operation of the service. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
Section 6
AlchemCharts software, installers, updates, downloads, license information, layouts, indicators, workflows, documentation, and related files may be used only as allowed by the Terms of Service and any applicable license or subscription terms.
You may not copy, host, mirror, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, publicly display, expose, outsource, modify, bypass protections for, or attempt to extract source code from AlchemCharts software or related materials.
You are responsible for keeping your device, operating system, browser, security software, and internet connection reasonably secure and compatible with AlchemCharts requirements. Do not disable security controls or install untrusted software in a way that creates risk for your account, payment information, or market data access.
Section 7
Market data, charts, historical data, options data, futures data, index data, crypto data, fundamentals, earnings, splits, and related information may be provided by exchanges, licensors, data providers, or other third parties and may be subject to separate agreements, classifications, entitlements, audits, fees, and restrictions.
AlchemCharts may limit, suspend, change, audit, report, or terminate market data access if required by a data provider, exchange, licensor, law, account condition, or AlchemCharts policy.
Section 8
Support channels are for account, billing, cancellation, installation, login, software, setup, market data form, blank chart, and basic navigation help. Support cannot provide investment, trading, legal, tax, regulatory, professional classification, or financial advice.
If you submit messages, screenshots, attachments, files, logs, feedback, or other information to AlchemCharts, you represent that you have the right to submit it and authorize AlchemCharts to use it as reasonably needed to investigate, respond, document, operate, secure, improve, and support the service.
Do not submit passwords, full card numbers, card security codes, bank credentials, unrelated private information, confidential third-party information, infringing materials, malware, or content you do not have permission to provide.
Section 9
You may not test, scan, probe, crawl, scrape, stress test, load test, reverse engineer, exploit, disrupt, or attempt to access AlchemCharts systems, accounts, software, data, payment flows, support tools, providers, or infrastructure without prior written authorization from AlchemCharts.
If you believe you discovered a security issue, report it promptly to AlchemCharts Support through our contact form. Do not publicly disclose the issue, access or alter data, view another user's information, interrupt service, persist access, extract data, or test beyond what is necessary to describe the concern.
Reporting a concern does not authorize continued testing or access. AlchemCharts may ask for additional details, restrict access, or involve service providers, law enforcement, regulators, exchanges, licensors, or other parties when appropriate.
Section 10
You may not use unauthorized payment methods, provide false billing information, abuse promotions, create duplicate accounts to avoid payment, manipulate cancellation or refund workflows, make fraudulent claims, or interfere with payment processing.
Payment disputes, chargebacks, failed payments, reversals, suspected fraud, suspicious account activity, or inaccurate account information may result in account review, suspension, limitation, termination, collection activity, or other action described in the Terms of Service and Billing and Cancellation Policy.
Chargebacks or payment reversals do not automatically cancel your subscription unless AlchemCharts confirms cancellation or applicable law requires otherwise.
Section 11
AlchemCharts and its licensors own the software, website, designs, interfaces, workflows, layouts, documentation, graphics, logos, names, text, code, databases, and other proprietary materials, except for materials owned by third parties or information you provide.
You may not infringe or misappropriate copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, privacy rights, publicity rights, database rights, contract rights, or other rights of AlchemCharts, users, data providers, exchanges, licensors, service providers, or third parties.
AlchemCharts may remove or disable access to content, restrict features, or terminate accounts that AlchemCharts believes may infringe rights or violate this Policy. Repeat or serious infringement may result in termination.
Section 12
AlchemCharts may investigate suspected violations of this Policy, the Terms of Service, market data agreements, provider requirements, law, or account rules. AlchemCharts may rely on account information, support records, billing records, logs, device information, provider notices, exchange notices, security signals, third-party reports, and other available information.
If AlchemCharts believes a violation occurred or may occur, AlchemCharts may take action without prior notice where appropriate, including warning you, requesting correction, limiting access, suspending access, terminating access, disabling downloads, revoking licenses, blocking accounts, removing content, preserving records, contacting payment processors, contacting service providers, notifying exchanges or licensors, reporting to authorities, or pursuing legal remedies.
AlchemCharts is not required to provide refunds, credits, or compensation for suspension, limitation, termination, or loss of access resulting from a violation or suspected violation, except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
Section 13
AlchemCharts may terminate or restrict users who repeatedly violate this Policy, infringe rights, misuse accounts, misuse market data, abuse support, fail to pay, provide false information, threaten system integrity, or otherwise create legal, operational, security, provider, or reputational risk.
Some conduct may be serious enough for immediate suspension or termination even if it is a first violation.
Section 14
This Policy supplements the Terms of Service. To the extent this Policy conflicts with the Terms of Service, the more specific acceptable-use rule controls for the acceptable-use issue unless a written agreement signed by AlchemCharts states otherwise.
Nothing in this Policy limits rights or obligations that cannot be limited under applicable law, exchange rules, data provider terms, or third-party agreements.
Section 15
AlchemCharts may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. The updated Policy will be posted on the website with a new last updated date. If a change is material, AlchemCharts may provide additional notice by email, account notice, website notice, or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of AlchemCharts after an updated Policy takes effect means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
