Installation help

If you are having trouble downloading, finding, installing, or opening AlchemCharts, follow these steps.

Using a Mac?

AlchemCharts does not currently have a native Mac version. It is built for Windows. Some Mac users may be able to use Wine, but you should review Mac setup options before subscribing.

Common install problems

A few things that often come up.

I cannot find the download

Check your Downloads folder for AlchemCharts or AlchemCharts Setup.

I downloaded it more than once

It is fine - just use the most recent file. Delete the older copies.

Windows shows a warning

Windows often shows messages for desktop software. If unsure, contact support.

The installer will not open

Try double-clicking the file again, or restart your computer and try once more.

I installed it but cannot find AlchemCharts

Look on your desktop, or click Start and search for AlchemCharts.

I can open it but cannot log in

Try resetting your password, or contact support to verify your account.

Charts are blank after installing

Installation may be fine - your market data may need help.

Frequently asked questions

Where did my download go?

On most Windows computers, downloads are saved to the Downloads folder. Open File Explorer and look under Downloads.

What if I downloaded it more than once?

It is fine. Just use the most recent installer file and you can delete the older ones.

What if Windows shows a warning?

Windows often shows a message when installing desktop software. If your screen looks different from our guide, stop and contact support.

What if I use a Mac?

AlchemCharts is primarily intended for Windows. Please contact support before subscribing or installing on a Mac.

What if I forgot my password?

Use the Forgot Password link on the login page to reset it. Support will never ask for your password.

What if charts are blank after installing?

Installation may be complete but your market data may need help. Use the Blank Charts Help guide or contact support.

Still need installation help?

Use Download Help if the installer file is missing. Contact support if installation still will not complete.
